“ A Dumpling Marvel! The most exquisite, tasty and addictive dumplings ever!! They SHOULD be called, Lisa's FAMOUS dumplings. A buddy down in North Carolina came to NY to catch a Broadway show, where someone recommended he visit 59th & Columbus underground -- Lisa's Dumplings before leaving NYC! I STRONGLY AGREE & RECOMMEND you take a bag of Frozen ones for the family to experience, as well! ”
“ I came here last year when I looked around at the underground market and got fried dumplings. They were delicious. On my most recent visit, I went sort of out of my way to get more. The pork and cabbage dumplings are absolutely delicious! I got them steamed this time around. I think I like them fried better than steamed, but they’re still really tasty. The first pic is from my most recent trip, steamed pork and cabbage. The second is from last year, fried pork and cabbage. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. ”
“ We stumbled upon the Turnstile Underground Market and got some pork dumplings from Lisa’s Dumplings. These dumplings were amazing. Super fresh made to order right in front of you. We’ll be coming back here for sure. Great service, and polite staff. ”
“ Lisa’s is a great option for fast, delicious dumplings! I got their pork and Chinese cabbage, pan fried - I’d include a photo, but they were so good that I wolfed them down. They were flavorful and very juicy, and clearly freshly made. The steamed side was tender and the pan-fried side stood up well during the five minutes I carried them home. The chili oil is mild, but still good. Highly recommend for a quick bite to eat! ”
“ Located inside of the Turnstyle Underground Market in Columbus Circle. Delicious dumplings that you can see handmade right in front of you! The owner is always around and is very pleasant. Given all the dumplings a try but my favorite are the chicken & green pepper. Definitely don’t forget to ask for some chili sauce on the side if you like to add a little spiciness to your dumplings. Pork & cabbage are good too. Classic. The veggie ones are really good too if you aren’t in the mood for meat. All the workers are very nice and the cashier boy is super cute with a great smile. Whether you want pan-fried (for an extra 1) or steamed, Give them a try!! ”
“ I was at a doctor's appointment, and I was getting on the subway on Columbus Circle. It's the underground, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was beautiful to see the owner and workers making the dumplings right in front of you. Decided to eat them there at a little table that was available. You may get interrupted while eating because you are at a busy train station. ”
“ An excellent choice for a quick and satisfying bite! I tried the pork and Chinese cabbage dumplings, and they were absolutely delicious. If you’re near Central Park, I highly recommend stopping by this place! ”
“ Dumplings are beyond amazing! As someone who doesn’t eat pork, it’s hard to order or find dumplings with beef or chicken that are good quality. The subway environment is a swing or a miss but the dumplings and staff are always phenomenal. When we go we always order a batch of frozen dumplings to take home. ”
